Luxury Kitchen Remodeling
These Mentor, Ohio clients requested a kitchen renovation with a cost range of $30,000.00 to $50,000.00. The clients felt that the kitchen was too small and had a bad layout, which made it feel congested and crowded. The cabinets were outdated and the appliances were placed in such a way that did not utilize the existing space. The lighting was insufficient, adding to the feeling of a small, congested kitchen. The flooring was also inconsistent with the rest of the first floor.
Village Construction was able to efficiently solve these problems. We removed the wall between the kitchen and dining room to create a more modern, open concept space. We also shifted the half bathroom forward which resulted in even more kitchen space. This extra space allowed us to install new amenities- including a breakfast bar at the kitchen peninsula, brand new appliances in better locations, and a wine fridge and wine storage rack. We added recessed lighting in the ceiling and under cabinet lighting which gave the kitchen a more modern, open vibe. Finally, we installed new plank flooring, new white painted trim and crown molding throughout the entire first floor to give the house a modern, light feel.
