Luxurious Bathroom Spaces
As mentioned above, it’s pretty easy to create a functional bathroom, as there are only a few required elements. What makes a bathroom go from functional to memorable is the fine touches that are added during the design process. Maybe it’s some built-in cubbies in the shower for soaps and shampoo, or maybe it’s a custom backsplash that ties in colors from around the room. Working with a company like Village Construction that is experienced in creating luxurious bathroom spaces will ensure these finer points are not overlooked.
Not Just the Master Bath
Many homeowners target the bathroom attached to the master bedroom for an update or remodel, and that’s certainly a great idea. It’s not the only option, however, as the rest of your bathrooms deserve their fair share of attention. For instance, remodeling a hall bath to include a double vanity could help your kids get ready a little quicker each morning. Or, thoroughly updating the guest bath off your living area can make visitors feel more comfortable and at home. No matter which bathroom is targeted for renovation in your Cleveland area home, Village Construction is the perfect team for the job.

This Mayfield Village family requested a full bathroom remodel, with a cost range of $15,000.00 to $25,000.00. The entire bathroom was old and outdated, including the flooring, plumbing fixtures, and ceramic tile. The shower was too small and confining. The lighting and electrical outlets in the room were insufficient, and the ceiling was very low, which added to the feeling of a dark, confining space.
In order to solve all these major problems, it was necessary to gut the bathroom to the studs. We installed all new bath hardware, including a new bath fan which vented to the exterior. To create the feeling of more space, we re-framed the celing at 8' tall. We also re-framed the shower to a larger size, adding half walls. These half walls allowed us to fabricate and install a custom glass shower door and enclosure. We re-circuited all electrical outlets to comply with the current NEC code and installed new plumbing fixtures throughout the bathroom. In order to create a cohesive, modern bathroom, we installed brand new tile throughout the bathroom (shower, walls, and floor) and installed new white painted trim. The finished product was a completely unrecognizable, modern bathroom.
